I recently joined 2 new communities, 3D Ocean and Graphic River. These websites are part of the Envato Marketplaces, they give us the opportunity as artist to share our work with the world and make a living from it.

The sites are free to sign up to and you can start uploading your items straight away. My sales have been increasing with every month I've been subscribed. Some members have bought new cars with their earnings. You don't have to keep check of anything on there, it just ticks over by itself, so you can sit back and watch the money roll in!

I'm finally on Twitter!


I've finally got into Twitter, I didn't really see the point of it at first but as it's a way of free advertising I thought I'd give it a shot. I'm aiming to update this everyday with new work, projects and things I've found to be useful that you could also find useful.

Other News


I'm re-designing my website again as I have become bored of it already and I'm wanting to integrate Wordpress with it for easy and quick updates. Also I just love the Wordpress user interface it's a lot nicer to use than Textpattern.



I've created 2 websites using Wordpress now and I can say I was shocked at just how quickly you can have a Blog/CMS site up and running.

New website is now LIVE!!!

It's ALIVE!


My new website is now live! There are a few things that still need adding but I just wanted to get it live and people looking at it.


I've used Textpattern as a CMS and blog system so I can add and update my website from anywhere in the world, without having to download and upload files.

New Deviations


I'm going to be creating some new designs soon hopefully. I need to tap into my own style and start making compositions instead of a vector of a car on a white background. Doesn't really leave much for the imagination.



I want to specialise in 3D, vector and photo manipulation.

New Website

New Website is almost Complete!


I've been working on my new site design for the past month, hence the lack of uploads.


It's a mix of HTML, PHP & CSS. This is because I am using Textpattern. Which is an open source blog/CMS system. It's taken me a while to get my head around but I only have a couple more pages to get done now.



I'm hoping to get it up by the end of next week, work permitted.



Freelance


I am thinking of going fully freelance or starting up my own business within the next 2 years. I just love the thought of working for myself and making something of my life. Obviously with the current economic climate it would be very difficult and I need to get a lot more clients before I quit my current job.



I would like to specialise in 3D modelling and car design, but am happy with website design, print, graphic design at the moment.
